Delivery Policy

  1. Delivery Locations and Methods
    • Most of our products will be delivered directly to your front door.
    • We cover deliveries within mainland UK, Scottish borders, and Northern Ireland. However, Northern Ireland deliveries are limited to small items or bulk orders requiring a pallet.
    • Some items may be delivered to the kerbside (the street outside your home) or to a ground floor room of your choice. If this applies, you will be notified in the delivery email before the delivery date. This arrangement cannot be changed.
    • A risk assessment will be conducted at the time of delivery. If deemed safe and applicable, the delivery crew will place the items in the room of your choice.
    • Someone aged 18 or over must be present at home to accept the delivery.
    • If you are not home when we attempt delivery, a card will be left with instructions on how to rearrange delivery.
  2. Recommendations and Responsibilities
    • We strongly recommend not booking fitters or contractors until your order has been delivered and checked. We cannot be held responsible for any third-party costs incurred due to non-delivery or unverified deliveries.
  3. Delivery Options
    • Once products are added to the shopping basket, you can select a delivery method.
    • Available delivery options include:
      • Collection
      • Courier Delivery
      • Delivery on a Pallet
      • PSB Mrowka Van Delivery (price varies based on distance)
  4. Checking Delivery Options
    • Delivery options for a product can be viewed in the shopping basket after selecting “Select a method of delivery.”
  5. Delivery Details
    • Most products are delivered to your front door within the UK, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
    • A person must be present on the delivery day to accept and check the product. If not home, a note will be left to reschedule delivery. Avoid booking contractors until your order is delivered and inspected.
  6. Ordering Multiple Items
    • Items may not be delivered together. Check the details at checkout.
    • Orders containing multiple items will be grouped for a single delivery based on the product with the longest delivery time.
    • Orders with large or bulk delivery items will incur charges for those delivery methods. Only one delivery charge will apply.
  7. Van Delivery Capacity and Charges
    • Our delivery van has a maximum load capacity of 1.3 tonnes, which typically accommodates up to 45 plasterboard sheets.
    • For orders exceeding this capacity, additional deliveries will be required. For example, if your order includes 150 plasterboard sheets, this would require a minimum of 3 deliveries. The delivery charge to your postcode will be multiplied by the number of deliveries needed.
  8. Delivery Charges
    • Van Delivery Charges (for items like plasterboard or OSB):
      • 0 – 10 miles: £15
      • 10 – 20 miles: £30
      • 20 – 35 miles: £40
      • 35 – 50 miles: £65
      • Over 50 miles: Special request
    • Orders up to 35 miles are delivered within 3 working days. For distances over 35 miles, the minimum order value is £150, and delivery is within 6 working days.
    • Package Delivery Costs (up to 120kg):
      • 0-4kg: £2.99
      • 5-14kg: £4.99
      • 15-29kg: £7.09
      • 30-60kg: £9.99
      • 61-89kg: £13.89
      • 90-100kg: £17.89
      • 101-120kg: £22.89
    • Pallet Delivery Charges vary by postcode and typically range from £50 to £95 for a normal pallet, and up to £195 for an oversized pallet (1.2m – 2.4m).
  9. Additional Provisions
    • Please review our Terms and Conditions before purchasing and choosing PSB Transport as your delivery method. By purchasing, you agree to our terms.
    • Our company operates in the UK, so British Bank Holidays may affect delivery times.
    • Our customer service is available Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm. Queries and cancellations after 4pm will be processed the following working day.
    • Ensure that the delivery address and contact phone number are correctly entered.
    • You are responsible for providing the correct address and being present at the time of delivery.
    • If you request goods to be left in a safe place, we are not liable for loss or theft. If the parcel is marked as delivered but missing, it is considered stolen. Contact the Police for further assistance.
    • If no one is present at the delivery address, you must collect the parcel from our local shop.
    • We are not liable for delays due to natural disasters or extreme conditions.
    • Deliveries over 50 miles will take longer and incur higher costs.
    • In the event of unresolved disputes, issues not covered by this policy will be determined by the seller.
    • Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch. Once dispatched, only the product cost will be refunded; delivery fees are non-refundable.
    • If an undelivered item is returned or refused, we reserve the right to charge for both delivery and return costs.
    • Unloading is not included in the delivery service; the driver will not unload the goods.
